Ten foreign groups to perform at Fajr music festival

TEHRAN –
 Ten foreign groups will perform 15 concerts during the 30th Fajr International Music Festival, which will be held in Tehran from February 13 to 20.
 
The groups are from Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, Estonia, Armenia, Tunisia and Iraq. All performances will be held at the Vahdat Hall, Rudaki Hall and Shams Hall, the Persian service of ILNA reported on Friday.
 
Austria-based German clarinet virtuoso Ulrich Drechsler and Italian jazz pianist Stefano Battaglia will perform at Rudaki Hall on February 13. They will also stage another duet at the hall on February 14. 
 
Two performances by Italian quartet Maurice led by violinist Georgia Privitera is scheduled to be held at Shams Hall on February 14 and 17. Laura Bertolino, Francesco Vernero and Aline Privitera are the other members of the quartet.
 
Dutch quartet composed of tenor and soprano saxophonist 
Yuri Honing, pianist Wolfert Brederode, double bassist 
Ruben Samama and drummer Joost Lijbaart will give concerts at Vahdat Hall on February 15 and 16.
 
Vahdat Hall will host music lovers on February 19 for a concert by the Iraqi National Symphony Orchestra.
 
German Jazz-pianist and composer Johan Wendt, also known as Joja Wendt, will also perform a recital on February 13. 
 
A string orchestra from Estonia, two duets from Armenia and musicians from Austria and Tunisia are scheduled to perform at the festival.
