TEHRAN -- The Iranian comedy “No Entry for Men” has joined the lineup for the Doha Tribeca Film Festival.

Directed by Rambod Javan, the film is about an all-girl high school that has never permitted a man to cross the threshold, but spinster principal Ms. Darabi is forced to hire a male substitute teacher to coach her chemistry team for the big tournament against an all-boys school.

The film, which is also known as “No Men Allowed” and “Women Only”, will be shown the Special Screening section of the festival, which will be held from November 17 to 24.

Organizers had previously announced that Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi’s Oscar-nominated feature “Children of Heaven” will be screened in this section.

“Argo”, a Hollywood drama about the 1980 joint CIA-Canadian secret operation to extract six fugitive American diplomatic personnel out of revolutionary Iran, is also in the lineup for this section.
