TEHRAN – Iranian photojournalist Mohsen Rastani has published a selection of his photos on the Bosnian War (1992-1995), the most devastating conflict in Europe since the end of World War II, 20 years afterwards.
The book entitled “The Hard Time” has been published by the Association of Photographers of Revolution and Sacred Defense, Rastani told the Persian service of MNA on Wednesday.
Rastani, who is a graduate of photography from the University of Tehran, made several trips to the Bosnian capital Sarajevo during and after the conflict to prepare the collection.
Rastani is a photojournalist and a documentary filmmaker. He is one of the pioneers in photojournalism after the Islamic Revolution and has made great efforts in this field.
He has held several exhibitions in Iran, Tajikistan, France and several other countries.
