IIDCYA donates book to Germany’s Fantastic Library of Wetzlar

TEHRAN – Iran’s Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (IIDCYA) has donated 32 Persian books to the Fantastic Library of Wetzlar in Germany.
 
The books were presented to the officials of the library during the 66th Frankfurt Book Fair, which was held from October 8 to 12, IIDCYA announced in a press release on Tuesday.
 
The manager of the library, Bettina Twrsnick, has expressed her thanks over the donation in a letter that she has recently sent to the IIDCYA.
 
She said that the donation may provide them greater motivation to establish a section for Persian books.
 
Founded in 1989, the Fantastic Library of Wetzlar (Phantastische Bibliothek Wetzlar) is not only houses the largest collection of fantasy literature in the German language, but is at the same time a center of excellence for the promotion of reading and language that is very much in demand.
