TEHRAN – A group exhibition of posters by world famous designers Richter 83 opened at the Iranian Artists Forum in Tehran on Saturday.
The exhibit has been organized by Tehran’s Ideh School in collaboration with the Japa Group, and features works by 83 talented designers from more than 30 different countries.
The exhibit aims to provide an opportunity for art students to become more familiar with world famous posters that mostly focus on social issues, executive director of the exhibit Ali Omrani said in a press release published by the forum on Sunday.
It also helps visitors to become more familiar with the thoughts and ideas of famous designers, the compositions of their works and their attitudes towards social issues, he added.
The Japa Group has been active for the past three years and has participated in different festivals.
Hernan Berdichevsky and Max Rompo (Argentina), Paul Garbett (Australia), Marco Antonio, Bruno Rivera Catacora (Bolivia), Marcos Minini (Brazil), Todor Vardjiev (Bulgaria), Andrew Lewis and Andrew Mayberry (Canada), and Boris Ljubicic (Croatia)are among the participating designers.
Also included are Finn Nygaard (Denmark), Christopher Scott, Santiago Gomez and Javier Perez (Ecuador), Patrick Thomas and Noma Bar (England), and Fons Hickmann, Gunter Rambow and Vincenzo Fagnani (Germany).
The exhibit will be running until October 22 at the Forum located on Musavi St., off Taleqani Ave.
