“Da” translated into Spanish

TEHRAN – The Iranian bestselling war novel “Da” has been translated into Spanish.
Najmeh Shobeiri, who is the director the Spanish Language Department of the Translation Office of the Art Bureau, is the translator of the book.
The book is being edited and will not be ready for publication until June 2015, Shobeiri said in a press release on Sunday.
Written by Seyyedeh Azam Hosseini, “Da” was published in 2008 and soon became an Iranian bestseller. It contains recollections by Seyyedeh Zahra Hosseini of the time when the Iraqi army captured Khorramshahr during the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war.
Tehran institute to host review session on Austrian literature

TEHRAN -- Tehran’s Book City Institute is holding a review session of Austrian literature on Tuesday evening.
Austrian writer and journalist Alexander Peer and the Iranian translator of Austrian writers’ works, Ali-Asghar Haddad, will attend the session.
Peer will also read some excerpts from his books during the session and will discuss fiction literature in Austria.
