Book on Iranian attractions published in Rome

TEHRAN – A book on Iranian cultural attractions has recently been published in Rome.
 
Italian Middle East expert Marco Perissinotto and Iranian journalist Hamid Masuminejad have jointly authored the book entitled “Iran: A Trip to Iran amid Orient and Occident” (Iran: un viaggio in Persian tra Oriente and Occidente).
 
The 238-page book, which was published by Polaris, contains materials about cultural and tourist attractions of Iran.
 
It also covers a number of travelogues, the most ancient of which dates back to 2500. 
 
Perissinotto has previously written “Iran: Treasures of Persia” (1999), a guidebook to Iran. He has arranged several tours around Iran over the past few years. 
 
Masuminejad, a professional journalist and writer, is the Rome correspondent for the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB). He has lived and worked in Italy for over twenty years.
