TEHRAN -- The 31st Fajr International Film Festival is currently organizing the third edition of the International Conference of Hollywoodism.
Many Iranian and foreign cineastes and film experts have been invited to the conference, which will be held from February 2 to 7 on the sidelines of the festival, organizers announced on Friday.
One of the main goals of this conference is to probe the philosophy of the anti-Iranian and anti-Islamic movies, which are produced by Hollywood, they said in a press release.
The conference will also try to find ways to struggle against Hollywood imperialism.
The connections between Hollywood and Zionism will also be scrutinized at the meeting.
Hollywood economics, the role of independent cinema in the awakening of the world, Hollywood and human values, the future of the world, and Iranophobia in Hollywood productions are among the other subjects, which will be discussed during the conference.
Filmmakers from 71 other countries have submitted 383 works to the Fajr festival, which is Iran’s most important event in the motion picture industry.
The 31st Fajr International Film Festival will be held from January 31 to February 10.
