TEHRAN -- Davud Mirbaqeri, the director of the blockbuster TV series “Mokhtarnameh”, plans to make “The Seventh Trip”, a comedy series about a villager who becomes president.
Mirbaqeri has entered into talks with officials in the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting about the series and the final result will be announced in a few days, he said in a bulletin published during the closing ceremony of the 3rd Ammar Film Festival in Tehran on Sunday.
“I was very keen on making a series about the subject ‘The Seventh Trip’ focuses on, but the ideal opportunity for it has not previously arisen,” he added.
