TEHRAN – Three Iranian graphic designers are among the finalists of the 5th International Student Poster Competition in Skopje, Macedonia.
Dariush Allahyari with one poster and Milad Aqazadeh and Saleh Zanganeh each with two posters are participating in an exhibition, which opened at the Youth Cultural Center on Thursday to display 70 finalist works.
Winners will be announced during the closing ceremony of the exhibition on December 28.
The posters were selected from 1835 works submitted by artists from 33 countries for the competition, which is being held on the theme of “Money for Free”.
The Iranian graphic designer Majid Abbasi is on the jury of this year’s competition.
Cedomir Kostovic from USA, Cinzia Ferrara from Italy, Rene Wanner from Switzerland, Serge Serov from Russia and Slavimir Stojanovic from Serbia are the other members of the jury.
The event has been organized by PLAKART - Association of Graphic Designers of Macedonia in cooperation with the Warsaw Poster Biennale and the Czech Association of Graphic Designers.
