Artists from Iran, Italy, Bulgaria, Taiwan, Germany, Portugal, Belarus, Spain, Costa Rica, Serbia, Georgia, Hungary and Austria participated in the symposium, which was held on Kish Island in the Persian Gulf from February 8 to March 1.

A jury composed of Iranian sculptors Saeid Shahlapur, and Seyyed Mohammad Beheshti, and U.S sculptor John M. Weidman assessed the works created during the event, which was organized by the Kish Free Zone Organization (KFZO).

Earlier in February, secretary of the symposium Seyyed Mojtaba Musavi expressed hope that the event would continue annually with an aim to embellish the urban areas across Kish Island.
