
TEHRAN -- Gil and Amard, an ensemble from the northern Iranian province of Gilan, will perform several concerts of Gilaki folk music in Moscow.
The concerts, which have been organized by the Iranian cultural attaché’s office to celebrate the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, will begin on Thursday.
The ensemble comprised of five members will perform its new and popular pieces during the concerts, singer Nasser Vahdati, who is also the leader of the ensemble, told the Persian service of MNA.
Gil and Amard will also give a performance at the 30th Fajr International Music Festival, which will be held from February 13 to 20.
