TEHRAN – An exhibition of motion graphic designs is scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the Tehran Graphic Design Week, which will open on April 27.
Motion graphic design is a subset of graphic design that uses graphic design principles in a filmmaking or video production context by use of animation or filmic techniques.
The exhibit will be in a location where the best selected motion graphic designs will be put on display in different sections including infographic, videographic, and typographic, secretary of the programs Mehdi Mehdian told the Persian service of ISNA on Wednesday.
Organized by the Iranian Graphic Designers Society, interested applicants are asked to submit their works to the secretariat of the exhibit before February 3, Mehdian said.
Members of the board of selection include animator Bahram Azimi, film critic Akbar Aalami, and graphic designer Mehrdad Sheikhan.
A number of meetings, lectures, workshops and exhibits have been arranged during the week.
