TEHRAN – A collection of abstract works by Lebanese painter Chucrallah Fattouh is on display at the Museum of Fine Arts of Tehran’s Sadabad Cultural Historical Complex.
A total of 25 paintings will be on display in the week-long exhibit, which opened yesterday, the museum announced in a press release on Sunday.
Chucrallah Fattouh was born in Monsef and graduated from the National Institute of the Lebanese University’s Faculty of Fine Arts in 1983.
He first experienced art through the shape and color of the wonders that the sea washed ashore.
He completed his first paintings at the age of 12, and at 13, a French passerby was the buyer of his early works, which were four portraits of his mother.
