TEHRAN – Iranian producer Rasul Lotfi plans to make a TV series that will center on a cyber attack on the nuclear sites in Iran.
Entitled “Red Windows”, the series is based the story of the Stuxnet virus, which was reportedly developed by the U.S. and Israel to sabotage elements of Iran’s nuclear program.
The action TV series shows how Iranian industrial systems were targeted by the cyber attack, and how Iranian security forces rooted out the problem, he explained.
The 13-episode series will be a free adaptation of a true event written by the screenwriter, he said.
Part of the series is scheduled to be filmed outside the country, probably in Armenia, he added.
