TEHRAN -- German graphic designer Markus Weisbeck, who has held a workshop with a number of Iranian students, said that he was satisfied with the result and the way the workshop was held, the Persian service of ILNA reported on Saturday.

“The Iranian students are very talented and know the necessary techniques well,” he said.

“They only need to be given the direction on how to use their creativity,” he stated.

During the workshop, which was held on June 14 at Tehran’s Idea School, Weisbeck of Bauhaus University in Weimar informed the students about the methods being taught at the university and asked them to create posters on various themes.

An exhibition displaying works by Weisbeck is currently underway at the Idea Gallery. The exhibit runs until July 3.

The Idea School organized the exhibition and the workshop in collaboration with Bauhaus University.
