TEHRAN -- The French publishing company Bruno Doucey has recently printed a book containing a selection of works by the young Iranian poet Garus Abdolmalekian.
The book, entitled “Our Fists under the Table”, has been translated by Farideh Rava. She took part of a verse in Abdolmalekian’s poem “Horses” to name the book.
Published on October 18, the collection is composed of 48 poems that have been selected from Abdolmalekian’s three books.
Bruno Doucey described Abdolmalekian as “one of the most talented voices of his generation” in an introduction to his book.
