TEHRAN – A group of Georgian Persian learners arrived in Tehran on Saturday to improve their skills in the Persian language.
The group, which includes 45 students selected from Persian educational centers across Georgia, will spend ten days in the country.
Tbilisi’s Public School No. 1 Director Amiran Jamagidze is accompanying this group. He expressed his appreciation to the Iranian cultural attaché’s office for organizing Persian language courses in the school.
He said that the courses have been welcomed by the students and such trips would increase their motivation for learning Persian.
The group is scheduled to visit Iranian cultural and tourist attractions during several trips to Gilan, Isfahan and Hamedan provinces.
They plan to visit some Iranian schools and educational centers and also the religious sites in the provinces.
The visit has been organized by Iran’s cultural attaché’s office in Tbilisi, the Islamic Culture and Relation Organization, and the Ministry of Education.
