
Entitled “Tehran and Madrid: Under Two Lights”, the book is a collection of photos taken by the Iranian artist Negar Kamkhah and the Spanish photographer Raul Cancio.
The hundred-and-twelve page book is in Spanish and was released by the Ediciones La Libreria.
Kamkhah, 22, and Cancio, 70, are from different cultures and generations. However, they can link two cities in different parts of world with their artistic perspective, the head of Persepolis Cultural Center Ahmad Mohammad-Taheri mentioned in the book’s preface.
The renowned Spanish journalist Angel del Rio also wrote a preface in the book in which he pointed out some geographical similarities between the two cities that leads to similar lighting at various times of the day in these two places.
The book was supported by the Iranian Persepolis Cultural Center in Madrid and Spain’s Tritoma S.L.
