* The Mess-Negar Gallery plans to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its establishment by holding an exhibition of embossed works by masters from Isfahan, Iran’s main center for this genre of art.
Works by Reza Qaderan, Akbar Bozorgian, Majid Bahramipur, Mansur Hafezparast, Mohammadreza Jalali, Hossein Jalali, Mostafa Mirfakhraii, Behzad Saei, Reza Moradi and Reza Abedi will be put on display at the exhibit, which will be held from October 19 to November 1.
The gallery is located at No. 5 in the Park Prince Building on Molla Sadra Highway.
Painting
* The Mah Gallery will be playing host to a joint exhibition of paintings by an all-female group from October 19 to 30.
Works by Arshin Agashteh, Sorayya Sharqi, Simin Jalilian, Maryam Hosseini and Yasaman Safa will be showcased at the exhibit, which will be curated by Vahid Sharifian.
The gallery can be found on 89 Golestan St., off Africa Ave.
Illustration/painting
* An exhibition Illustration works and paintings by Alireza Astaneh is scheduled to be held at the Homa Gallery from October 19 to 30.
In this exhibit entitled “Taxi Tehran”, Astaneh sees Tehran as a taxi, in which it is not easy to concentrate.
“Every passenger says his words although he or she does not know the driver or the other passengers. They try to unburden themselves to people whom they can never trust. I also depend on visitors whom I can never trust,” he added.
The gallery is located at No. 8, 4th Gharbi Alley, Sanaii St., Karim Khan Blvd.
