TEHRAN – A Persian translation of “Freya of the Seven Isles” by Polish author Joseph Conrad (1857 –1924) has recently been published by Behnegar Publications.
The story has been translated into Persian by Farzaneh Dusti.
The novella is a sweeping saga set in the Indian Ocean basin, against a turbulent background of barely suppressed hostilities between Dutch and British merchant navies, told by one of Conrad’s classically detached narrators, writes Amazon on its website about the book.
