TEHRAN – Iranian theater troupe Qoqnus is scheduled to perform two plays at the 13th edition of the High Fest International Performing Arts Festival, which will be running in Yerevan, Armenia from October 1 to 8.
“I Love God” and “Empty Footsteps” will be directed by Amin Salari.
High Fest Director Artur Ghukasyan watched “I Love God” at the Fajr International Theater Festival in Tehran last year and afterwards, he invited Qoqnus to perform it at the High Fest, Salari told the Persian service of Fars News Agency on Monday.
Since “Empty Footsteps” has the same cast, the play will also be staged at the festival, he added.
The Qoqnus theater troupe comes from Bandar Lengeh, Hormozgan Province.
A variety of troupes from different countries including Italy, Britain, Russia and Argentina will be giving their performances at the festival.
