Rubinchik had carried out many profound studies on the Persian language for over a half a century and was the author of more than 10 books and 150 academic articles in this field.
He was mostly known in Iran for his two-volume dictionary of Russian to Persian, which was printed by the Javedan-Kherad Publications.
Among his credits are “Some Peculiarities of Pronunciation of Arabic Words in Persian”, “The Modern Persian Language”, and “Problems of Lexicographic Elaboration of Phraseology in Dictionaries of Persian Language”.
In October 2009, Iran honored him at the third edition of the International Farabi Awards, which is a ceremony that recognizes people who promote a religious perspective toward the humanities.
