TEHRAN -- Two Iranian films will go on screen during the Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival, which will be held from February 1 to 9, 2013 in France.

“After the Class” by Fereshteh Parnianzad and “Koorsoo” by Omid Abdollahi are the two Iranian films that will compete at the festival.

“After the Class” is about a teacher who is promoted to the school’s principal, but at the same day her young daughter comes to inform her about an unexpected decision.

“Koorsoo” tells the story of an old optician, who is going to close his optometry shop due to his weak eyesight. But there is still a client who has not come to pick her spectacles yet.

Over 7000 films were submitted to the festival, 180 of which have been selected for screening.
