TEHRAN -- The Iranian actress and filmmaker Niki Karimi plans to display her latest works in photography in an exhibition at Tehran’s Golestan Gallery in February 2013.
Nature is the central theme of her works, the gallery announced in a press release on Wednesday.
The gallery hosted her first exhibition in 2009.
She has experimented with various themes in photography. However, she is mainly interested in nature photography.
“Nature photography gives me peace of mind. The photographer shares the pleasure he/she took from nature by displaying his/her works,” she had previously said in an interview.
Dubai’s Total Arts Gallery showcased a collection of her black and white photos in an exhibition in May 2010.
