TEHRAN – Some Iranian and Tajik publishers will come together in a meeting in Tehran during February to discuss ways to develop printing industry in their countries.
The Iran-Tajikistan Friendship Association is the organizer of the event, which will be held for the second time.
The first meeting was held in September in Dushanbe, the secretary of the association, Javad Rasuli, told the Persian service of MNA on Monday.
He said that Tajikistan will be the guest of honor at the 28th Tehran International Book Fair and added, “The meeting can lead to more cooperation between the publishers in the two countries.”
“We are seeking to exchange thoughts and experiences in the field of culture and economy in this association,” he added.
He said that the publishers plan to find solutions for existing problems in the publishing industry of the two countries.
