TEHRAN -- Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance spokesman Hossein Nushabadi has said that the 10th Islamic Conference of Information Ministers (ICIM) in Tehran achieved positive results.
The conference was appropriately organized and has received extensive media coverage worldwide, Nushabadi said during a press conference on Tuesday.
The 10th Islamic Conference of Information Ministers (ICIM), which is annually organized by the state members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, was held in Tehran from December 1 to 3.
The conference was held with the theme of “Media Convergence for Peace and Calm in the Islamic World” and focused on the most pressing issues in the Muslim world including Islamophobia.
In a letter signed by 180 MPs on Tuesday, the Iranian parliament thanked the Culture Ministry over organizing the conference.
