Iranian doc to go on screen at Turkish festival

TEHRAN –Iranian filmmaker Mostafa Razzaq Karimi’s documentary “Memories for All Seasons” will go on screen at the 18th Rendezvous Istanbul International Film Festival, which will be held in Turkey from December 5 to 11.
The film narrates the memories of a group of Iranian soldiers wounded by Iraqi chemical weapons during the 1980-1988 Iran-Iraq war.

TEHRAN – A group of the members of the Iranian House of Cinema (IHC) visited the German Film Academy (Deutsche Filmakademie) in Berlin late last week.
The group traveled to Germany to attend an Iranian film festival, which was held in Cologne from November 28 to 30.
IHC Managing Director Mohammad-Mehdi Asgarpur and his colleagues, including Farhad Towhidi and Homayun Asadian, met German Film Academy Director Alfred Holighaus.
The expansion of relations between the two institutions was discussed during the meeting.
