TEHRAN – Two books by the renowned Iranian author Mostafa Mastur have been translated into Arabic and English.

Kian Soheil has translated the book “Bone of a Pig, Hands of a Leper” into English. The book was published by Ponte33 in Italy.

In this book, Mastur narrates the lives of different residents of a tower in Tehran. Their problems and everyday lives are cleverly tied to each other throughout the story.

Another of Mastur’s books, “Kiss the Lovely Face of God”, was translated into Arabic by Ahmed Atef Abou el-Azm in Egypt. The book was published by Egypt’s National Center for Translation.

“Kiss the Lovely Face of God”, which poses question about man and his faith in God, has been translated into Italian, Russian, Indonesian and several other languages.

Previously, Ghassan Hamdan has translated the same book under the title of “Face of God” in Egypt. This version was published by the Dar al-Tanweer publishing company.
