TEHRAN -- Several Iranian artists are displaying their works at the third Annual Juried International Exhibition of Contemporary Islamic Art at the LuminArté Gallery in Dallas, Texas in the United States.
Hedyeh Yusefi-Fard, Yasaman Musavi, Zahra Nazari and Sudi Sharafshahi are among the Iranian artists whose works are on show in the exhibit, which opened on October 25 and will be running until November 29, the gallery has announced on its website.
Over 40 artists are participating this year from 17 countries including the USA, the United Kingdom, Iran, Bulgaria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Japan, Egypt, Pakistan, Canada, Singapore and Lebanon.
This prestigious international exhibition includes artworks in a variety of styles and media, inspired by Islamic culture, art, literature and architecture.
Several workshops and meetings have also been arranged on the side section of the exhibit to promote education in the arts of the Islamic world and help build cultural bridges between Islamic cultures and the rest of the world.
