Tanavoli’s new book published
TEHRAN – A book containing pictures of works by celebrated sculptor Parviz Tanavoli has recently been published in Tehran.
Entitled “The Poet”, the book carries photos of 100 artworks from Tanavoli’s collection “Farhad, the Mountain Carver”.
Published by Bongah Publications, the book will be unveiled during a ceremony at Tehran’s Etemad Gallery on Friday.

“National Gallery” to go on screen at Cinéma Vérité
TEHRAN -- The 8th edition of Cinéma Vérité, the Iranian international festival for documentary films, will screen U.S. filmmaker Frederick Wiseman’s “National Gallery”.
The documentary is about the National Gallery in London, one of the great museums of the world.
The 8th edition of Cinéma Vérité will be held in Tehran from November 30 to December 7.
New gallery to open in Tehran
TEHRAN -- A new gallery will open in Tehran on Friday with a showcase of paintings by Omid Moshksar.
Orkideh Darrudi is the founder of the exhibition space entitled O Gallery. The gallery aims to focus on showcasing works by young artists.
The exhibition runs until December 8 at the gallery located at 46 Khosro Alley, off Villa St.
