Exhibition of Press and News Agencies opens today

TEHRAN – The 20th Exhibition of Press and News Agencies will open at the Imam Khomeini Mosalla today at 9 a.m.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani and Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Ali Jannati are scheduled to attend the opening ceremony, which will be held at 3 p.m.

After a one-year hiatus, the exhibit will be opening with about 560 Iranian periodicals and news agencies, Persian media reported on Friday.

Several foreign media agencies active inside the country will also be attending the exhibit this year.

A variety of newspapers, magazines and periodicals will be on display in the exhibit running from November 8 to 14.

The exhibit will be promoting the motto “Responsible Freedom”.
