TEHRAN – The second edition of the Persian translation of “Quartier Perdu” written by the French author Patrick Modiano has been released in Iran.
The book was translated into Persian by Asghar Nuri and was published by Afraz Publications.
The Persian versions of Modiano’s books have joined the top five bestsellers in Tehran’s major bookstores since October 9 after he won the 2014 Nobel Prize for Literature.
TEHRAN – The 4th London Iranian Film Festival will be held from November 1 to 9.
“Fish and Cat” by Shahram Mokri, “Snow” by Mehdi Rahmani, “Red Carpet” by Reza Attaran and “Neurasthenia” by Omid Tutunchi are among the films to be screened at the festival.
TEHRAN – A Persian translation of “Thinking about Movies: Watching, Questioning, Enjoying” has been welcomed in Iran.
Saqi Publications has recently republished it.
The book, written by American authors Peter Lehman and William Luhr, was translated into Persian by Hamidreza Ahmadi Lari.
