In the film, directed by Nasser Zamiri, the marriage between Arezu and Amir-Hossein is in peril as Arezu is unable to have children.
Indian director Chaitanya Tamhane’s debut film “Court” swept awards at the festival. The film won the Golden Gateway for Best Film and the Silver Gateway of India for Best Director. The cast ensemble of the film also won the Jury Special Mention.
Iranian films “What’s the Time in Your World?” directed by Safi Yazdanian, “Mashti Esmaeil” by Mehdi Zamanpur and “Snow” by Mehdi Rahmani also competed in the event, which began on October 14.
Organized by the Mumbai Academy of the Moving Image (MAMI), the festival previews new films of all genres from around the world.
