TEHRAN – Deputy Culture Minister for Press Affairs Hossein Entezami visited Tehran Times co-founder Irfan Parviz at his home in Tehran on Sunday.
Irfan Parviz, 84, is suffering from various afflictions of old age.
“Irfan Parviz is one of the founders of the Tehran Times and is a veteran journalist and it is our duty to support him,” Entezami said at the meeting.
He also served as the first chief editor of the international daily, whose first edition was published on May 5, 1979.
