TEHRAN – The renowned guitarist Afshar will perform recitals at Tehran’s Niavaran Cultural Center on August 9 and 10.
She will perform pieces composed by contemporary and classical musicians including Leo Brouwer, Bach and Isaac Albéniz.

Moscow to host Iran’s International Resistance Film Festival

TEHRAN – The 13th International Resistance Film Festival will be held in Moscow simultaneous with that of Tehran, which has been set for late September.
The organizers of the festival are currently negotiating with other countries to host the event, an official of the festival, Reza Rastegar, said in a press release on Wednesday.

TEHRAN -- Iranian children will hold a gathering in front of the United Nations office in Tehran to protest against the Israeli war in Gaza today at 11 a.m.
The gathering has been organized by Iran’s Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults.
