TEHRAN -- over 200 Iranian cineastes have signed a petition, asking Internet users to avoid illegal downloads of their works.
They asked the audiences to respect the rights of producers and creators of the productions.
They also introduced www.IMVbox.com, a website which provides a legal access to some Iranian films.
IMVBox is the only online distribution platform offering free and subscription content streaming over the Internet that exclusively showcases Iranian content.
Fereshteh Taerpur, Parviz Parastuii, Homayun As’adian, Mehrdad Oskuii, Tina Pakravan, Farhad Tohidi, Babak Hamidian and Puran Derakhshandeh are among those who signed the petition.
