TEHRAN – An exhibition displaying a collection of photos of the rituals Chinese Muslims perform every year during the holy month of Ramadan is currently underway in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad.
The exhibition has been organized at the Ferdowsi Hall on the sidelines of the 9th International Exhibition of Quran in the city.
The collection is composed of 70 photos, which have been taken by the Iranian cyclists Hamid Soltanabadian, Mohammad Adibi and Farid Dolatabadi during their tour of the Silk Road in 2013.
They also took photos of mosques, Islamic sites, Islamic rituals and festivals in various countries on the Silk Road.
The Khorasan Razavi Art Bureau, affiliated with the Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization (IIDO), is the main organizer of the exhibition.
Quranic artworks and publications from 21 foreign countries are on display at the Mashhad Quran exhibit, which runs until July 25.
