Painting
* A collection of portraits of a number of Iranian movie and music stars, artists, and authors will be put on display during an exhibition at the Mina Gallery from October 26 to November 2.
Entitled “My Stars”, the collection has been created by painter Maahyaar Charmchi.
The gallery can be found at 120 Golestan 2, Pasdaran Ave.
* The Asar Gallery will be playing host to an exhibition of paintings by Babak Roshaninejad from October 26 to November 21.
The paintings belong to Roshaninejad’s collection entitled “No! History is Not Written by Victors”.

* The Iranian House of Cartoon will hold an exhibition of a collection of illustrations from October 25 to November 7.
Chakameh Rahgani has created the illustrations for the children’s book “Ancient Iranian Celebrations”.
The institute is located at 44 Golnabi St. off Shariati Ave.

* Photographer Abbas Kowsari will explore the role of light in various religious rituals during a weeklong exhibition, which will open at the Aran Gallery on October 26.
The gallery is located at 12th Dey Alley, off North Kheradmand Street.
Sculpture
* Sculptor and jeweler Rokhsareh Hashemi will showcase a collection of her latest works during a weeklong exhibition, which will open at the Kaveh Gallery on October 26.
The gallery is located at 26 Taibad St. off Farid Afshar St., Zafar Ave.
Multimedia
* Works of a number of installation and video artists, and photographers will be put on display at the Arte Gallery from October 26 to November 5.
The artists include Elham Haj-Mohammadi, Sattar Erfanian, Anahita Mahmudi, Golnaz Niluforushan, Mehran Aziz-Zadeh, Amin Bozorgzadeh, Rojin Hosseini, Hannaneh Potki and Reza Talebzadeh.
