“The Silent Angel” appears in Persian
TEHRAN – A Persian translation of German author Heinrich Boll’s “The Silent Angel” has been published by Nun Publications in Iran.
The book was translated into Persian by Saeid Farhudi.
“The Silent Angel” is about Hans Schnitzler, a German soldier who returns to a bombed German city just days after the end of World War II, carrying a dead comrade’s coat to his widow--unaware that the coat contains a will.
“Communist of Montmartre” hits Iranian bookstores
TEHRAN – A Persian translation of German author Michael Kleeberg’s “The Communist of Montmartre and Other Stories” has been published by Peidayesh Publications in Iran.
The book was translated into Persian by Maryam Moayyedpur.
