He is scheduled to talk about different methods of shooting he used in Asghar Farhadi’s “A Separation” and Shahram Mokri’s “Cat and Fish”, Kalari told the Persian service of MNA on Wednesday.
Excerpts of the two movies will be screened at the master class.
Kalari said that he likes to collaborate in new and innovative projects.
“Classical methods in cinematography are no longer interesting to me,” he added.
The organizers are also scheduled to honor Kalari during a ceremony on March 19.
The Irish culture minister and the mayor of Dublin will attend the ceremony.
In addition, four Iranian films will go on screen during the festival.
“The Sleepy” directed by Hassan Khorasani, “Renovation” by Mohammad Haddadipur, “Blue Bubble” by Farshad Khoshbakht and “Those Who Remain” by Farzan Moazzam will compete in various sections of the event.
The Silk Road Film Festival (SRFF) screens films from countries that were once part of this historical network of ancient trade routes, and focuses in particular on Asian, Arab and Middle Eastern cinema.
