TEHRAN – Tehran’s Mohsen Gallery is hosting an exhibition of photos to raise funds for artists who are suffering from different types of diseases.
Photos by veteran stage and screen actor Farhad Aiish along with six other photographers, Mehdi Ashena, Sorush Milanizadeh, Hassan Bardal, Foad Ashtari, Reza Musavi and Shiva Khodabakhsh, have been put on display in the exhibit which opened yesterday.
For a long time, there have been plans to create a fund to support artists who are ill and unable to pay for their treatments, Ashena told the Persian service of ISNA on Wednesday.
“We are determined to hold charity exhibits each season and we hope to be able to continue,” he said.
The exhibit will be running for three days at the gallery located on Naji St., near Farzan St., off East Mina Blvd. in the Zafar neighborhood.
