TEHRAN – Iran’s Cultural Fairs Institute will send a collection of children’s books with the central theme of old Persian tales to the Bologna Children’s Book Fair, which will be held from March 24 to 27.
Published in Iran for the first time by Taka Publications, fourteen books translated into English, French, Arabic and Italian will be put on display at the fair, the Persian service of MNA reported on Tuesday.
There are also plans to hold talks with foreign publishers for publication of the books in their countries.
Shabaviz, a leading Iranian publisher of children’s books, will also be offering a selection of its latest publications at the fair.
