Carpet tableaus by visually impaired Iranian artists on display at Kuwaiti gallery

TEHRAN – A collection of carpet tableaus by four visually impaired Iranian artists are currently on display in an exhibition at the Ahmed Al-Adwani Hall in Kuwait.
 
The tableaus feature suras (chapters)of the Holy Quran, verses of Persian poems and some fantastic scenery.
 
The collection, which contains 35 tableaus, has been created by Masumeh Fereidun, Zahra Homaii, Zeinab Babri and Anita Sirus for the exhibit entitled “Beauty Is in Our Eyes”. 
 
Other handicrafts by the artists are also on display on the sidelines of the exhibition.
 
The exhibit, which has been organized by the Iranian cultural attaché’s office in Kuwait, will come to an end today.
