* Photos of the quake-stricken regions in Azarabaijan Province are currently on show in an exhibition at the Tajrish Metro Station.
 
Forty works of 30 photographers have been showcased at the exhibit entitled “The Season of Sympathy”, which runs until October 28.
 
The exhibition has been organized by Tehran Urban and Suburban Railway Operation Company to raise funds for the victims of the two devastating earthquakes that jolted regions in northwestern Iran on August 11.
 
Cartoon
 
* An exhibition of cartoons focusing on HIV is currently underway at Tehran’s Arasbaran Cultural Center.
 
Fifty works of 39 Iranian cartoonists have been put on display at the exhibit, which has been organized jointly by by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime and several Iranian organizations.
   
The show continues until October 24 at the center located on Arasbaran St., in the Seyyed Khandan neighborhood.
 
Calligraphy
 
* A collection of calligraphy works by Rasul Moradi is currently on display in an exhibition at the Diplomatic Gallery in Tehran.
 
Moradi has showcased 52 of his latest works, which feature poems by Hafez, Khayyam, Sadi, Attar and several other Persian poets at this exhibit, which runs until October 30.
 
The gallery, which belongs to the ECO Cultural Center in Tehran, is located on 10 Naz Alley, off Movahhed-Danesh St. in the Aqdasieh neighborhood.
