Swedish film editor Sylvia Ingemarsson invited to Fajr festival

TEHRAN – Swedish film editor Sylvia Ingemarsson has been invited to the 32nd Fajr International Film Festival, Iran’s most important event in the film industry, which will be held in Tehran in February.
 
Ingemarsson will be the guest of honor at the festival. She will also hold workshops, organizers have announced in a press release on Tuesday.
 
The workshops will be held on the sidelines of the festival in collaboration with the Film Editors Guild of the Iranian House of Cinema.
 
The exact time and place will be announced in the near future on the festival’s website.
 
Sylvia Ingemarsson is famous for her collaboration on more than a dozen of Ingmar Bergman’s projects including TV dramas, documentaries and some of his greatest masterpieces such as “Fanny and Alexander”.
 
“Saraband” (2003), “Faithless” (2000), “After the Rehearsal” (1984), “Autumn Sonata” (1978) and “The Blessed Ones” (1986) are some of the films she has worked on as an editor.
