TEHRAN – Persian versions of the German novels “Fame: A Novel in Nine Episodes” and “He’s Back” are scheduled to be released in Tehran in the near future.
Morvarid Publications will release the books, which have been translated by Mahshid Mirmoezzi.
Written by Daniel Kehlmann, “Fame” consists of nine loosely connected stories about technology, celebrity and alienation.
“He’s Back” by Timur Vermes is an absurd story told from the perspective of the Nazi dictator Hitler, taking place after Hitler awakens in 2011and comes out of his Berlin bunker, but is mistaken for a comedian look-alike.
He rants against cyclists, dog owners who don’t clean-up after their pets and speeding drivers.
