TEHRAN -- The Sapienza University of Rome and the National Museum of Iran (NMI) have recently signed a memorandum of understanding.
According to this MOU, the two sides will cooperate on archaeological studies for five years, NMI Acting Director Asadollah Mohammadpur told the Persian service of ISNA.
Based on the MOU, Iranian and Italian scholars will also participate in joint research programs on museum objects and the results of their studies will be published in English.
In addition, the university and the NMI will co-organize some workshops, meetings, seminars and educational courses.
The MOU was signed by Rector of the Sapienza University Professor Luigi Frati and Mohammadpur.
