TEHRAN – Two episodes of a documentary series on various wedding traditions in different regions of Iran will go on screen at the Kazan International Muslim Film Festival, which will be held from September 4 to 12 in Tatarstan.
The documentary series entitled “Wedding in Iranian Tribes” consists of thirteen episodes. Different filmmakers have directed each part.
Only two episodes, “Wedding in Turkmen Sahra” directed by Nader Masumi and “Wedding in Baluchestan” by Mohammad-Ali Hashemi Zehi will be shown at the event.
The motto of this edition of the festival is “dialogue of cultures through the culture of dialogue”.
Films reflecting human, spiritual and moral values as well as cultural traditions, supporting the ideas of peacemaking, tolerance are selected for the festival.
