Iranian galleries present artworks at Art Moscow 2012

TEHRAN – Two Iranian galleries are presenting artworks created by Iranian artists at the 16th Art Moscow 2012, which is currently underway in Russia. 
 
Ariana Gallery and Assar Gallery are displaying artworks by Iranian artists during the event, which will run until September 23. 
 
On Art Moscow, Ariana Gallery is showcasing well-known artists for international auctions and museums of contemporary art artists from Iran. Among them – Farhad Moshiri, famous for his ironic approach that mixes traditional forms of Iranian art with consumer world and globalization, and Charles Hossein Zenderoudi whose art refers to Iranian and Islamic traditions and  his interest in calligraphy to form a new technique. 
 
One of the renowned Iranian galleries, Assar, features works by four Iranian artists Ahmad Morshedlu, Samira Alikhanzadeh, Babak Roshaninejad and Reza Azimian during the event.
 
The market for modern and contemporary Russian art is huge, and there is nowhere better to see it, or buy it, than at Art Moscow, where all of Russia’s most important galleries participate, as well as a number of top international galleries.
